Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy.
