Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous as a naive character who are charming and likable. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings that grew up when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. Adams was born when her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. In the mid-1990s, she began professional dancing and performed at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she performed in a regional theatre where her character was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. After her screen debut that was successful with the role of an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocating to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. From June 1951 to September of 1962, she was married to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh began her filming career following the signing of an MGM contract in the late 1940s. Her work was noticed through actress Norma Shearer. She starred as Norma in various popular films over the years, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho in 1960, and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
