Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, he moved together with family members into Casper located in western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the local district of soil conservation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
