Mischa barton was born 24 January 1986 in Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She appeared also as a character in The Sixth Sense, a suspense film. Comaneci is also active in a variety of causes, and has been a member of both the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In the years since, she remains a patron of dozens more charities within her homeland of Romania. This includes the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
