According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English with the intention of returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed from Northlands and then Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become an actor of professional caliber was born at an early age.
